Pitz Crew at Barnsley Live
Trap Boi Yakhz & Fat Jack
Published 20 June 2023
On Saturday 17 June 2023, Trap Boi Yakhz and Fat Jack took to the stage at Barnsley Live for a 30-minute set at the Digital Venue. For Pitz, it was a chance to showcase a real part of what we do and bring our sound to one of Barnsley’s biggest cultural events.
Both artists have spent the last year building a strong catalogue of music, and that work translated naturally into a live setting. Their set brought energy, confidence and originality to the stage, while introducing Barnsley audiences to a style of music that is still hard to come by locally.
Most importantly, the response from the crowd showed that there is space for this sound, this culture and this kind of performance in the town. Barnsley Live was an important moment for both artists, and a proud one for Pitz too.
Trap Boi Yakhz and Fat Jack — well done lads, you smashed it.
