The Early Days
2012
These were the first official events run by Pitz, creating early opportunities for emerging artists to perform, build momentum, and connect with live audiences. Featuring names such as Stig of the Dump, The Four Owls, Jack Flash, and others, these events helped bring grassroots talent into local spaces while laying the foundations for the creative culture and community focus that still shape Pitz today.
The Relaunch Era
2022
The relaunch era marked a new chapter for Pitz, built on independence, in-house creativity, and a real commitment to supporting talent. Where venue budgets allowed, artists, DJs, photographers, and other creatives were paid for their contribution, while promotion, poster design, and branding were all created in-house.
Events such as ILL MINDED MUSIC and Resident Evil were run independently, with no outside backing, driven by belief in the culture and the people involved. At its core, this era was about creating opportunities, increasing visibility, and giving creatives a place to perform, be seen, and have a voice.
